The Arizona Stray Feathers was born from a desire to ride motorcycles with friends and enjoy the open road. The picture below is of the very first official Arizona Stray Feathers gathering in 2002 for the first ever Indian Riders Pow Wow in Bisbee, Az. It was a good time enjoyed by all who attended.
The feeling of friendship and brotherhood felt at that first rally is still carried on today. Many of our members found us to be a part of a family of riders that care about each other on and off the motorcycle. Our rider group has since open its membership to all brand motorcycles and riders that enjoy getting in the wind. As with all ride groups you will find a diverse selection of members from office workers, engineers, construction workers, and small business owners. Moreover, being of diverse backgrounds you find almost all types of preferences for types of rides. We have the riders that enjoy a good cigar and a cold beer at the local watering hole. We have riders that enjoy a good day trip to see what our state holds over the scenic landscapes and destinations. Finally, we have those that enjoy the long haul and the call of, as we call it, the “Roads Less Traveled.” With such destinations as Sturgis, Palm Springs, Reno, Las Vegas, Branson, Santa Fe, Pismo Beach, and Ensinada, Mexico. Whatever your preference it is agreed by all that it is best enjoyed with the company your keep. At the Arizona Stray Feathers you find a family waiting to welcome you home. The Arizona Stray Feathers is an Arizona chapter of the Iron Indian Riders Association and our members of the IIRA are an extended part of the family that can be found Nationwide; as well as Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Sweden, and Australia. So we invite you to come out and ride with us or any of the Iron Indians you meet on your travels.
